Why We’re Different

We develop stories with the world already in mind. Continuous Mot is built on the belief that cinema is a global language, and that the future of premium storytelling is multilingual, borderless, and culturally precise.

Our expertise is deeply rooted in the Spanish-speaking world, where we have long-standing creative and industry relationships across Latin America, Spain, and U.S. Latin markets. We merge that foundation with a global development approach—pairing culturally grounded narratives with international storytelling frameworks that travel across languages, territories, and platforms without dilution.

Rather than retrofitting projects for global audiences, we build them that way from inception: stories designed to be consumed, adapted, and embraced worldwide. The result is prestige content that feels authentic locally and resonant everywhere.

Our Development Track

At Continuous Mot, development is transparent, intentional, and built with the global audience in mind. We seek stories that refuse to behave—horror that travels, romantic comedies that cross borders, and comedies with bold, high-concept hooks that can play anywhere in the world.

We actively welcome submissions in Horror, Romantic Comedy, and Comedy, with a focus on high-concept projects budgeted between $2–3M and designed for multilingual, international audiences. Stories that move fluidly across cultures, languages, or markets are especially encouraged. Submissions should include a brief synopsis, tonal references, and any relevant supporting materials.

How it works:

  1. Submit a brief synopsis, tone references, and relevant materials.

  2. Review — our team evaluates each project with care and creative intent.

  3. Response — if there’s alignment, you’ll hear from us within 1–2 weeks.

  4. Next Steps — selected projects move into our transparent development process.

Every project is reviewed with care and creative intent. While we’re unable to respond to all submissions, creators can expect a response within 1–2 weeks when there is strong alignment with our current slate and development priorities.

If it’s daring, transportive, and built to travel, it belongs in the Continuous Mot development track.

  • Operations Manager

Mario Cortes was born in the United States, raised in Mexico, and returned home to serve his country as a U.S. Navy veteran. A former bank teller with a steady hand and an unshakable work ethic, Mario moves through the world grounded, observant, and quietly dependable.

He runs on pancakes, smoothies, and stories—the kind that linger. He can name every Selena song, every record, without missing a beat. Behind the scenes, he’s the person who makes momentum possible, the one who turns intention into action. If something gets done, chances are Mario helped make it happen.
